  • Former “code generation” vendor released from contract.
  • RDM was commissioned to build a back-end engine that included code generation functionality.
  • Several third-party vendors were part of the implementation efforts for this project.
  • Database functionality needed to be seamless to continue day to day operations and enable members to continue to place orders.
  • Data integrity and timeliness of data exchange to RDM.

Our Solution

RDM knew the best approach was to get everyone on a set of calls to coordinate efforts. The client needed a quick turnaround time and flawless implementation. We initiated those calls and all parties agreed to the timeline and deliverables.

  • A database was built that addressed the integrity of the data with full functionality.
  • Our data team coordinated the API calls from and to the other vendors. The system was designed with a single sign-on and an iFrame catalog to improve user experience.
  • A tool was created to automate the code generation that allowed the client to produce and track millions of unique codes in just a few minutes.

Results

This project took an immense amount of teamwork and overtime. We were able to work with the client’s other third-party vendors to deliver on this strategic corporate initiative.

  • Consumers were not aware of the changes due to a seamless transition.
